Tuesday 16th of November it was set for Zangersheide’s annual and highly awaited Embryo & Broodmare Auction, and once again old and new bidders and buyers from all over the globe had marked their calendars and tuned in for the action!
After an intense bidding war, the embryo by Levis de Muze out of Maia, full sister to Darry Lou, was sold for the top price of € 45.000 to an American buyer. The same American client invested in the filly embryo by Chacco Blue out of the 1m60 performing Funky Music for € 39.500, while the future full sister to Tobago Z was sold to England for € 36.000! The longest battle of the evening went on for the embryo by Dominator Z out of Joe Clee’s European Championship mare Diablesse de Muze, who was sold under the virtual hammer for € 32.500 to a happy Belgian buyer!
Among the broodmares the highest price of the evening was for the full sister to As Cold As Ice Z who will stay in Belgium for € 19.500. Instagram HST Z, a daughter of Comme Il Faut out of the dam line of Mathilda Karlsson’s Chopin VA, will leave to its new owner in Denmark for € 18.000.
The United States were in the shopping mood for exclusive bloodlines and purchased no less then 5 embryos, while other bidder and buyers tuned in from all over the world.
