The very first auction in the world that sold only frozen embryos of sporthorses was an immediate hit! 10 embryos found their way to buyers all over the world for an average price of almost € 15.000.
In an exciting battle between Belgium, Ireland and America, the embryo of Chacco Blue from the former GP mare Gatoucha van ‘t Roosakker was sold for a whopping € 30.000. The new owner is Paul Peeters, owner of ‘de Rostal’ and also owner of the half sister of the embryo, the mare Tinkoucha Hero Z. It’s Pauls daughter Leonie Peeters who brought this Tinkoucha Hero Z to an international 1m50 level.
Chacco Blue is also the sire of the embryo of Boyante de Muze, sold for € 26.000. It is the American Taylor Flury from AliBoo Farm who purchases this embryo in cooperation with MDM Equestrian Group.
The half brother or sister of the number one in the world, Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z, goes for € 15.500 to Germany and the embryo by Baloubet du Rouet out of the half sister of the Olympic stallion London is sold for € 15.000 to Switzerland.
