The 'Studfarm Zangersheide Special' promised spectacle and kept its word. In an exciting bidding war 6 young sporthorses, an embryo and a broodmare were sold. Tonight’s auction topper was the beautiful Solid Gold Z son Sleipnir Z! Sleipnir Z moves for € 90,000 to the American rider Karen Mcfarland who is extremely excited about her newest acquisition: "I love Zangersheide and its online auction, the website is very easy to use and I love to follow Zangersheide on Instagram! Sleipnir Z will strengthen my team and I will bring him up to Grand Prix level! That’s what I’m hoping! I liked his expression over the jumps. He looks like he’s light off the ground and uses himself well! Also I love greys!"
It is stallions that rule the roost at Zangersheide as the second most expensive is also a stallion. Capsone Z is a son of Cicero Z out of Judy Ann Melchior's former GP mare Abba Z and is thus a brother of Take a Chance on Me Z. Capsone Z was sold for € 89,000 and moves to the United Kingdom.
Air Ratina Z, the unique daughter of two cloned horses, namely Air Jordan Alpha Z and Ratina Gamma Z, found her new stable in Germany. For €58,500 she will move to an international sport stable!
The Danish showjumping rider Emil Hallundbaek has an enormous love for the offspring of his former Grand Prix stallion Catoki Z and may as of now also call himself the new owner of the embryo of Catoki Z out of the fantastic Quasibelle du Seigneur.
Studfarm Zangersheide thanks its buyers more than ever for their confidence in the studfarm and wishes them the best of luck with their new horses!
