The last embryo auction of the year had a spectacular end this evening. This time it was up to Ireland to buy the most expensive embryos. After an exciting bidding duel, it’s an Irish investor who secures an embryo by Chacco Blue out of the mare Lady D van 't Roosakker for an amount of € 41.000. This Lady D is a daughter of Electra van 't Roosakker and was previously sold through the Zangersheide.Auction as well. Together with this embryo, the Baloubet embryo out of the sister of Chacco Blue and the Untouched embryo out of the 1m60 jumping Coronada will also move to the same stable for € 33.000 and € 16.500 respectively.
Also breeding mares were sold expensive in this exciting auction. No Mercy van 't Roosakker, in foal to Emerald, was sold to Croatia for € 23.000 and the Belgian Kilian Decroix gave no less than € 30.000 for the mare Coral Z, in foal to Dominator Z. This stunning mare is one of the last daughters of Caretano Z and comes out of the full sister of Cippolini from Second Life Z (Carthago Z) who recently won the bronze medal at the WC for 7-year-old horses in Lanaken. “Last year I bought the half-sister of Coral Z, a filly by Taloubet Z at the Z Quality Auction. I love that Taloubet Z filly so much that I was prepared to do everything to buy the beautiful Coral Z as well. I am very happy with her!” Kilian Decroix from DCK Stables says.
Zangersheide.Auction would like to thank all her loyal buyers and bidders for their absolute trust in our embryos and broodmares.
Our auction opens again on December 14 with a collection of young jumpers between 2 and 6 years old.
